Manufacture of the thermal dye
PGT has not only developed PGT-TD(Thermal Dye) as a major material of the thermal paper, but also ANMT and BBA as intermediates of the thermal dye. PGT-TD has been synthesized by condensation & cyclization under the strong acid conditions.
We were explored a mass production technology to refine. In addition, the final product of high quality was manufactured through PGTech® purification.
Our main technology includes PGTech® purification, Halogenation, Ullmann reaction(nucleophilic aromatic substitution reaction using copper catalysts), O-alkylation, N-alkylation, Friedel-Crafts reaction, etc.
